I love writing stories about family and relationships. How we, as imperfect humans, interact with one another (especially when under stress) is so fascinating to me. No wonder we are a spectacle to the angels and others as the Scriptures point out! Writing is art. When I write, I am putting my characters onto the theater stage of your mind's eye, and you are their audience. And just like us, they sometimes do and say things that make you mad, laugh, and cry.
Finally, I’d like to say that I understand that not everyone will like my stories. It wouldn’t be realistic of me to think otherwise. Since becoming a published author, I have learned a lot, which includes how to better accept criticism. However, I would like to add that constructive criticism builds a person up instead of tearing him down.
Writing, to me, is like everything else we learn to do in life. Some of us may start off slow while others seem to soar with little or no difficulty. I guess it can be compared with a baby learning to crawl, walk, and talk. Some start earlier than others, but eventually most learn, even though it’s at a slower pace. I see my growth as a writer, and I hope that you do, too. Yet I know that as long as I have breath in my body, I will never stop learning how to be a better writer. With that said, I would like to add that if you enjoy my stories, I would appreciate it very much if you would write a review on the Amazon or Goodreads website or any website of your choice.
